Ashley BruceActor

Ashley, originally from Scotland, has enjoyed a successful career both in her native United Kingdom and travelling the globe. Before training at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting in London, Ashley attended The Musical Theatre Course at The Dance School of Scotland, the “only centre of excellence for dance and musical theatre”. Whilst there, she attained the internationally recognised Associate of Trinity College London diploma, accredited by Guildhall, before moving to London to gain her BA Hons in Musical Theatre.
Ashley feels very lucky to have had the chance to explore some great roles throughout her career, from Belle in “Beauty and the Beast” at The Palace Theatre to Anita in “West Side Story” at The Royal Festival Hall in London. She also works extensively as a vocalist both in the UK and NYC, performing at venues such as The Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End to Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. Ashley has also enjoyed working on a variety of workshops and readings, and has made many television appearances, most recognisably for The Royal Wedding on The Paul O’Grady Show for ITV Studios. Ashley took some time to travel the world playing Stephanie Mangano in Saturday Night Fever for Royal Caribbean, where she feels very lucky to have met her wonderful husband.
As well as performing, Ashley also enjoys a career in teaching and directing, previously working as install director and assistant director for Royal Caribbean, along with other projects here in NYC such as “Boy Band Revue New York”. She also teaches and works with children with behavioural and learning difficulties, with a specialism in autism, using her skills in theatre to help children and young adults to grow and learn…
