BILLY HEPFINGER has been acting and singing since the age of six, when he recorded an acclaimed cover version of “The Lion King” soundtrack for his aunt and uncle on cassette tape. A Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Princeton, Billy now calls New York home, where he lives with his wonderful wife, Maggie.
Billy spent most of the last few years recurring as Deputy Judd Fults on the WGN drama series “Outsiders”, where he learned how to do some mild stunt driving and get the snot beat out of him on camera. His other film and TV credits include The Last Witch Hunter with Vin Diesel and “The Blacklist”. Most recently, Billy appeared as head of security Steve Wilkos in The New Group’s winter 2018 New York premiere of “Jerry Springer: The Opera”; other favorite theater highlights include “The Underclassman” (Prospect Theater Company, NYC), “Company” (Pittsburgh Public Theater), “Camelot” (Westchester Broadway Theater), “The Guard” (City Theatre), “Plaid Tidings” (Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival), and “Side by Side by Sondheim” (Pittsburgh CLO). Billy has also taken part in a number of developmental workshops and readings, including Steven Dietz’s “This Random World” (City Theatre), Marisa Michelson’s “Tamar of the River” (Prospect Theater Company, dir. Danny Goldstein), and the revamped “First Date” (Pittsburgh CLO).
When he’s not acting, Billy loves to play and listen to music, sketch, and scour New York in search of the greatest sandwiches the city has to offer. He’s also currently hard at work on a fantasy adventure novel for young readers, which he hopes to publish (if he ever finishes it).
