” Jesse Dalton is an NYC-based actor and singer; a baritone belter with a bit of Brian Stokes Mitchell and a bit of Bruce Springsteen. He hails from Haddam, CT; home to the Goodspeed Opera House, and the closest to Standard American English that you’ll hear in this country – or so we like to believe!
A versatile vocal mimic, Jesse began doing impressions at a young age, and was praised by Judith Malina for his “golden voice” and “magnificent portrayal” of the Living Theatre’s Tom Walker in an experimental piece (THE LIFE OF THE THEATRE, 2013) based on the diary of Julian Beck.
His recent performances include Gaylord Ravenal in Prather’s SHOW BOAT, and the sole survivor of a dark-comedy-slasher-film by Christopher Wesley Moore (TRIGGERED), in which he acted opposite Amanda Wyss (of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH fame). He is always excited to find new ways to tell stories with his voice and his eyes, be it for an audience of two thousand, or a camera two feet away. “
