Julian Mazzola, now a senior in high school, has been acting since he was seven years old. His first on camera role was as the Neighbor in Harold, followed by Kevin Bramer in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. More recently Julian has played Young Meyer Lansky in AMC’s Making of the Mob and hosted web series Nat Geo Kids. He has also participated in various theater productions throughout all his life at school and summer camps. Some of his theater roles have included Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, Gayev in The Cherry Orchard, Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet and Archie in 13 the Musical.
Julian has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor at Montclair State University’s Theatre Night Awards and has been named Best Actor and Best Comedic Duo at Bucks County Playhouse Theater Festival, Rumson Country Day’s Forensic Festival Winner, and the recipient of his 8th grade class’s Drama Award. This past summer Julian trained at Broadway Artists Alliance’s summer intensive as an acting major. He plans on continuing his training in college.
When not acting, Julian sings in a band, “Blue Moon Under.” The band released an E.P this past summer entitled This Is It and a single last year, Castles, which can both be found iTunes, Spotify, GooglePlay, etc.
