Michael was born in Paterson, NJ but he currently resides just across the Hudson in Hoboken, NJ. He has been performing in various NJ community theaters since he was 12 years old. Michael acted in many plays at Montclair State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After college he spent a few years teaching/entertaining elementary school kids in grades 2, 4, and 5.
Michael has most recently appeared in The Barn Theatre’s production of One Slight Hitch playing Ryan. His other theatrical accomplishments include appearances in a variety of roles on Off-Broadway stages, most recently as Gregorio Salanari in My Big Gay Italian Wedding and Mortiz Stiefel in Spring Awakening. Other favorite roles include Yvan in Art, The Limping Man in Fuddy Meers, Spike in Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike, and Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman.
Now acting full-time, Michael has secured lead and supporting roles in several independent films and commercials. When he’s not acting, Michael enjoys practicing yoga, boxing, and traveling.
