Taylore is a vivacious 21 year old who recently got back from the 2015-2016 National Tour of 42nd Street. She tap danced her way across America and Canada over the span of 11 months. Beyond tap, Taylore is also a singer, actress, and classically trained dancer in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern varieties, hip hop, and commercial dance. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and began taking dance classes at the age of 4.
Taylore started training pre professionally in high school at COCA in St. Louis with various dance companies. She also joined the St. Louis Hoofer’s Club directed by Robert Reed. Throughout her youth, Taylore went to many dance intensives and conventions such as Break The Floor, Chicago Human Rhythm Festival, Jazz Dance World Congress, and the St. Louis Tap Festival. She studied under and did residencies with industry professionals such as Jason Samuels Smith, Camille A Brown, Alicia Graf, Lee Nolting, Gina Bon Perez, Antonio Douthit, Kirven Boyd, Lara Teeter, as well as other. Taylore always loved performing in front of a live audience and took voice lessons and choral classes. She competed on the all-suburban level in choir as well as performing in an award winning Show/Jazz choir.
Taylore decided to pursue her professional dreams and move to NYC. She attended AMDA New York City as a dance theatre major and graduated in 2015. While at AMDA Taylore studied under Nic Thompson, Casey Colgan, Nicole Davey, Michelle Bruckner, Ramon Galindo, Kathy Morath, and Jim Elliot. While in her 4th semester, Taylore went to her first professional audition and booked a featured ensemble roll in the National Tour of 42nd Street.
