Zachary’s career began in Columbus Ohio at the age of three, belting from his living room table. Since those early days his work has taken him to the Kennedy Center, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Papermill Playhouse, and Carnegie Hall. Zachary holds degrees from Johns Hopkins’ Peabody Institute and NYU as an actor and singer. Zachary is now based in NYC where he has lived and worked for the past four years.
Zachary has been praised for his vocal power and range. As Tobias in Sweeney Todd his work was descibed as a “Sucker-punch performance…Tallman opens his mouth and the sound is enough to make the angels weep.” (Baltimore City Paper)Zachary is also known for his comedic style and timing. Some of Zachary’s other credits include Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate, The monster in Frankenstein, and Jacob Marley/Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol.
