Chris Aguilar is an Actor / Vocalist / Dancer who was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. Chris graduated from the “Friday Night Lights” Permian High School where he participated in Choir and their legendary show choir “Black Magic”. He is now a Freshman at Odessa College where he is majoring in Theatre and Music. Chris has always had a passion for the performing arts for as long he could remember. At the age of 5 he fell in love with music and that passion continued to drive him as a musician. Chris began to sing at the age of 9 and also became a DJ at the age of 12. In high school Chris began to Act in his church’s youth leadership team and in some of the school’s plays.
Since then Chris has aspired to pursue a career in the business as an actor and musician, which is exactly what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Chris continues to study acting and voice under the direction of teachers such as Operatic Tenor, David Corman. Recently Chris was chosen from thousands of actors, singers, and models to participate in the ARTS International Talent Showcase in Burbank, California. Chris has also appeared in several TV commercials. At Odessa College he has starred as the Music Minister opposite Metropolitan Opera / TV star, Gary Simpson, in the updated version of “Gianni Schicchi” at the Globe Theater.
In his spare time, Chris loves being involved in his Church and enjoys to hit the gym to build up his physique through weight training and nutrition. Aside from that, Chris enjoys watching movies and collecting sneakers. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and going on late night cruises with his fellow members of his car club he founded called “West Texas Camaros”.
